As I enter my second year as a college math professor, I'm reflecting on the journey that led me to this dream career. While it hasn't been without its challenges, the rewards have been immense. One of the greatest joys is engaging in discussions with my students. Their questions often lead to unexpected insights and deeper understanding.

If you have ever taken a calculus class, you probably remember the Taylor series. It is the mathematical magic trick that lets you turn complicated functions—like sines, cosines, and exponentials—into simple, infinitely long polynomials.
